Public Speaking as a Service

I spoke to a group of IT professionals at a federal agency today. It was easy - for me at least. But astonishing how something so simple for me would be so meaningful to others.

I love to talk. When people go away with more meaningful questions, it is both enriching and satisfying. As much as I want people to understand something I already do, I want them to have ownership of the content for themselves where they are creative to solve problems for themselves.

In essence, they are like me by just a degree, after their experience of my presentation.

I started putting myself out there in my network to be a speaker in the last few months. As a result, I've spoken to community organized groups like meetups and skill-sharing groups who have come to discover for themselves what I have in the world of Artificial Intelligence. Ten years ago, the topic may have been about digital marketing or platform integrations for business development. In all, the spirit would still be the same: how do we use these business tools to connect with each other better so we can find each other and serve each other well?

I even spoke to my group at a state government agency about digital transformation to help mitigate risks of security and compliance, as well as effective knowledge management and content publishing for multiple platforms, without having any bottlenecks due to organizational workflows that tax human agents in the system.

Today, it was with IT professionals who were being upskilled by their organization (a large one) to adopt and facilitate proprietary AI resources.

Even though it feels like stating the obvious, calling the obvious out allows for all who are in the seminar to consider with their colleagues that we are looking at the same issue together and can cooperate with the same formal standards to stay accountable and work to the same ends.

These things sometimes are taken for granted. The knowledge lives within us but is seldom shared and thus may create competing perspectives based on presumptions because of the lack of communication.

It was both a joy and a privilege to participate in this work and facilitate in bringing everyone together in being of one mind in solving certain problems in the realm of Information Technology.

I hope to do more.

As of this moment, I am working with a group that has a global network of students that want to grow in their skills of vibe-coding solutions for their creative endeavors. They are working on the cutting-edge with these tools as they advance or evolve where last months methods might seem antiquated if persisted.

My goal is to impart the knowledge that allows for people to find creative freedom to own the materials and form their own solutions with frameworks that continually serve them in seeing opportunities to apply their intelligence to new challenges without being held back by old or outdated workflows.

The meaning is always there based on the relationship of the information they are engaging with. Seeing that meaning comes from looking at the data (or the story) from where we are, on the outside, in a decontexualized state of mind.
